Doomscrolling

A habit where scrolling becomes continuous and almost unconscious. It begins subtly just a few minutes of scrolling that slowly stretch into hours. The thumb keeps moving, content keeps changing, but nothing is truly absorbed. Gradually, the screen pulls closer, attention narrows, and the outside world fades into the background. Even when there is an urge to stop, the loop continues. Over time, this constant consumption leads to mental fatigue, loss of focus, and a sense of disconnection. The work captures this quiet shift, where control slips away and the digital space begins to dominate everyday experience. Through a minimal and bold visual language, the project invites viewers to pause and become aware of their own screen habits.
